Noemi Feliciano, GYLFH Regional Director

Noemi is a Detroit-based, multilingual educator and operations leader whose career combines people-centered service with disciplined team execution.

Over 17 years of experience in professional culinary management, Early Childhood Education, and supporting Matrix Human Services (Head Start), where she maintains a safe, structured classroom environment, helps implement curriculum, builds trust with children and families, and follows program regulations and safety expectations.

She holds an M.S. in Educational Psychology from the University of Georgia, and has supported university research through the LEAP Lab, using tools such as R, SPSS, and Python to analyze learning data and strengthen assessment quality.

Her professional background also includes educational psychology work with learners facing disabilities and emotional challenges, alongside years of tutoring and academic coaching.
